Randy Jones

Randy Jones is an alumnus of and the Assistant Coach at Queens University of Charlotte.

Jones is a native of Bel Air, MD, went to high school at Bel Air High School, graduated from Queens in 2008 with a B.A. in communication and is now completing graduate course work in the McColl School. While attending Queens he played lacrosse for the Royals. Jones was the team captain for the Royals for two seasons and was the recipient of the Most Improved Player Award and the Coaches Award.  Coach Jones does a lot of coaching in the community with Turn and Burn Lacrosse.

Coach Jones most recent accomplishments as the assistant coach at Queens are  that he coached a 7 game winning streak, coached the longest lacrosse game (7 OT’s) in NCAA history to a victory, set the best regular season record at 9-4, and ranked as as high as 7th in the country.  He has coached 1 All-American, 13 Academic All Conference,  8 First Team All Conference Players, 7 Second Team All Conference Players, and 2 Honorable Mention Conference Player, 2009  Head Coach received Conference Carolina’s Coach of the year.
